Job description
What you will do:
Lead the development and execution of Stryker’s global workplace design strategy to foster a flexible, inclusive, and agile work culture
Oversee design projects from concept to post-occupancy evaluation across multiple global locations, ensuring alignment with the Stryker Workplace Design Guidelines
Direct internal and external design teams to deliver innovative, purpose-driven workspaces that align with brand, values, and business goals
Use data from surveys, workplace studies, and analytics to guide design decisions and continuously optimize space utilization.
Coordinate with Stryker’s Construction PMO team on project work to ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets and quality standards
Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, IT, EHS, Security, and other corporate functions to ensure cohesive and inclusive project planning
Work with Stryker Real Estate & Facilities team to monitor key performance indicators (KPI’s) and track the success of workplace initiatives
Support management efforts, communicating the purpose and benefits of workplace transitions to employees
What you need:
Required:
Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Business, or a related field
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in workplace design, corporate real estate, or facilities management
Proven success designing and implementing activity-based and flexible work environments
Strong leadership skills in managing multidisciplinary teams and complex, global projects
Experience with workplace analytics and using data to inform design decisions
Knowledge of corporate construction management practices
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Preferred:
Relevant industry certifications or licenses (e.g., LEED, WELL, NCIDQ)
Experience leading change management initiatives related to workspace transformation
