Job description

What you will do:

  • Lead the development and execution of Stryker’s global workplace design strategy to foster a flexible, inclusive, and agile work culture

  • Oversee design projects from concept to post-occupancy evaluation across multiple global locations, ensuring alignment with the Stryker Workplace Design Guidelines

  • Direct internal and external design teams to deliver innovative, purpose-driven workspaces that align with brand, values, and business goals

  • Use data from surveys, workplace studies, and analytics to guide design decisions and continuously optimize space utilization.

  • Coordinate with Stryker’s Construction PMO team on project work to ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets and quality standards

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, IT, EHS, Security, and other corporate functions to ensure cohesive and inclusive project planning

  • Work with Stryker Real Estate & Facilities team to monitor key performance indicators (KPI’s) and track the success of workplace initiatives

  • Support management efforts, communicating the purpose and benefits of workplace transitions to employees

What you need:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Business, or a related field

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in workplace design, corporate real estate, or facilities management

  • Proven success designing and implementing activity-based and flexible work environments

  • Strong leadership skills in managing multidisciplinary teams and complex, global projects

  • Experience with workplace analytics and using data to inform design decisions

  • Knowledge of corporate construction management practices

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Preferred:

  • Relevant industry certifications or licenses (e.g., LEED, WELL, NCIDQ)

  • Experience leading change management initiatives related to workspace transformation
