Location: Johannesburg
As a Warehouse Coordinator Inbound, you will support Stryker’s distribution operations by ensuring inbound warehouse activities are completed efficiently, accurately, and in line with quality and regulatory standards. You will play a key role in receiving, storing, and managing products so that operations run smoothly, and customers receive their orders on time.
What You Will Do
Support the Department Manager in achieving divisional KPIs and operational objectives.
Execute core inbound warehouse activities, including receiving products, put-away into designated locations, and preparing items for downstream operations.
Pick, pack, and ship products accurately to ensure timely customer deliveries.
Support non-production activities such as empty locator management, cycle counting, and lot consolidation.
Process company returns, including customer-owned, consignment, technical service, and PER items.
Prepare and maintain trade compliance documentation for shipments between South Africa, Northern Ireland, and the EU, including CHIEF reporting requirements.
Support compliance, inventory, and quality-related activities, including handling of Human Tissue products where applicable.
Deliver value-added services that enhance operational effectiveness.
Train new starters in all aspects of the role, ensuring tasks are performed safely and according to work instructions.
Develop a strong understanding of warehouse procedures, systems, and processes to identify and implement improvements through appropriate channels.
Support Warehouse Supervisors with troubleshooting and investigations to resolve operational issues.
Escalate discrepancies or challenges when necessary, applying sound judgment based on established procedures.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders at local and regional levels.
Promote a safe working environment and champion quality standards to ensure 100% accuracy.
Drive engagement aligned with Stryker’s culture and operational values.
What You Will Need
Required:
Matric (essential)
NQF5 qualification or currently studying towards one
Professional working proficiency in English
3–5 years of experience in a warehousing or similar environment
Strong working knowledge of warehouse processes and ERP/WMS systems (e.g., JDE or similar)
Ability to follow established procedures and apply practical judgment based on experience
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Commitment to safety, quality, and compliance standards
Preferred:
Tertiary education (College or University)
Experience supporting regulated environments such as medical devices or healthcare logistics
Pay rate will not be below any applicable local minimum wage rates.
