What You Will Do

  • Coaches the marketing team on competitive insights, driving strategy development and sharing key intelligence about the market positioning, competitors, and future challenges, specifically within the trauma product line, while managing product launches and portfolio strategy.
  • Leads customer insights initiatives by training the team to effectively communicate the value proposition and understand the key reasons why customers buy trauma-related products and services, focusing on both direct and indirect sales channels.
  • Develops customer-centric approaches, driving product and service innovation based on evolving customer needs within the trauma segment, ensuring the company stays ahead of market dynamics, and effectively managing the trauma product portfolio.
  • Guides the creation of strategic marketing plans, coaching the team to identify weaknesses and improve plans, particularly in relation to the trauma product portfolio and its strategic positioning in the market.
  • Manages budget understanding and planning, ensuring that financial strategies align with the unique needs and growth opportunities of the trauma business, while incorporating direct and indirect channel considerations.
  • Drives effective product segmentation, targeting, and positioning strategies, with a specific focus on maximizing brand equity in the trauma sector, backed by strong evidence and customer validation, and ensuring smooth product launch execution.
  • Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, such as sales, supply chain, and R&D, to ensure seamless execution of strategies and product launches within the trauma product line, including handling new product development and portfolio management.
  • Mentors the marketing team on establishing KPIs, measuring customer satisfaction, and driving continuous improvement, all while focusing on enhancing the effectiveness of trauma-specific marketing efforts across both direct and indirect channels.

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Advanced level of English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
  • Experience with orthopedic products; knowledge in Trauma is a plus.
  • Previous experience managing teams.
  • Strong experience in Medical Devices companies.
