Position Summary
The Transparency Analyst is responsible for ensuring compliance with U.S. transparency regulations, including the Sunshine Act and CMS Open Payments. This role focuses on the review and remediation of High-Risk Payments (HRP), requiring exceptional attention to detail and a strong understanding of HRP processes. Additional responsibilities include filtering out non-reportable transactions, determining the reportability of healthcare professional (HCP) attendees who were incorrectly added to expense reports, and maintaining data integrity across multiple systems.
The position supports ethical and compliant business practices by managing data collection, remediation, consolidation, and reporting for U.S.-based commercial businesses. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
What You Will Do
Review and remediate High-Risk Payments (HRP) to ensure compliance with U.S. transparency regulations and internal controls.
Filter out non-reportable transactions and validate reportable spend data for accuracy and completeness.
Investigate and determine reportability of HCP attendees incorrectly added to expense reports.
Compile, organize, and consolidate large volumes of data for reporting purposes.
Prepare statistical and compliance reports; resolve discrepancies and communicate findings to internal stakeholders.
Provide training and guidance to Concur users on proper reporting of HCP attendees.
Maintain accurate documentation of remediation activities for audit and compliance purposes.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data quality and streamline reporting processes.
Work with multiple electronic systems (MedPro, Concur, CMS, CAPS/GRT, Solix, Excel) to extract and analyze data.
Act as a subject matter expert and positive role model for transparency compliance.
Build collaborative relationships across functional teams to ensure consistent implementation of compliance procedures.
What You Need
Bachelor’s degree in Business or relevant field.
Minimum of 3+ years in accounts payable, supplier master, transparency reporting, or related experience.
Experience with U.S. transparency regulations (Sunshine Act, CMS Open Payments) preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong working knowledge of other Microsoft applications.
Ability to manage large data sets and maintain accuracy under tight deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment within defined guidelines.
Pay rate will not be below any applicable local minimum wage rates.
