Job description
As the Trade Shows Associate, you will execute assigned shows for the Medical division, creating an experience that brings our brand to life and enables product education and engagement with our customers. Your role is dynamic and highly collaborative, requiring tactical planning and execution. You are responsible for connecting people, ideas, tools and stories to have maximum impact. Conferences and trade shows represent one of our most critical opportunities to interact with our customers, investors, competitors and one another. You serve as an integral member of the team, working alongside stakeholders to understand our customers and elevate Medical’s brand at conferences of varying scales.
This is a hybrid position that will require you to be in the office for at least 3 days a week. This opportunity will support at one of the following locations: Redmond, WA, Portage, MI, Cary, IL, and San Jose, CA.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Align with Trade Show Manager to execute Medical’s trade show experiences in and outside of the booth, for all assigned shows and conferences spanning our Acute Care, Emergency Care and Sage business units.
- Lead a collaborative, trade show planning and execution process for divisional Tier 3 trade shows. Develop and manage a comprehensive event project plan for all tasks, product needs, and other details. Create pre-show briefing documents and run pre-show business meetings.
- Manage logistics for Tier 3 trade shows, including booth set up and tear down.
- Conduct and communicate post-show analysis. Identify, track, analyze and report on key metrics and meeting leads for Tier 3 shows.
- Execute shows and experiences within established budget and ensure timely and accurate processing of planning expenses.
- Manage activity budgets and related expenses for your shows.
- Onsite show support as assigned.
- Establish relationships with immediate team and internal customers to provide a team approach to the successful planning and execution of assigned shows.
- Serve as a brand steward, adhering to and promoting Stryker’s brand guidelines, specifically the trade show guidelines.
- Assist in event planning, execution and facilitation, as needed, for all other Customer and Employee Engagement functions (Internal Meetings and Events, Employee Engagement, Customer Engagement).
WHAT YOU NEED:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in event planning.
- Internship experience related to marketing, sales, and/or event planning.
