Test Technician
Contract: Permanent
Location: Belfast
37.5 Hour Week
The primary role will be to investigate and provide root cause analysis on returned HeartSine product. You will also be required to assist with processing non-conforming product arising from everyday operations and to provide support to the Manufacturing Operations team. The role may also include development activities or strategies as required for the job.
What you will do:
- Investigate and perform component level diagnostics.
- Process returned product and provide reports (Including Root Cause Analysis).
- Investigate and implement repairs to test equipment within customer returns lab.
- Assist with execution of preventative maintenance and calibration procedures as required within customer returns lab.
- Diagnose faults and with test equipment and process as required.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing operations as required.
- Investigate, review and disposition non-conforming product as required.
- Escalate problems, notify relevant departments as necessary, document and implement solutions as per procedures.
- Maintain awareness of company Health and Safety Policy and Fire Evacuation Procedure and take all reasonable precautions against personal harm or injury.
- Maintain awareness of company training requirements and attend training sessions as required.
- Provide training to others as required.
- Maintain Quality systems documentation and generate new documentation as required.
Any other duties deemed necessary by the PAC Supervisor, Customer Quality.

Qualifications Knowledge Skills:
UK Level 5 (England, Wales & N. Ireland) or above qualification in electronics (HND Qualification in Electronics). Would require 1-2+ Years Experience in an Electronic Related Position.
Experience: Essential
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to convey complex or technical information in an effective manner to non-technical staff.
A working knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word Processing, Excel and Outlook.
Experience: Desirable
Industrial experience in a similar post with experience in electronics.
Experience of working with high voltage circuitry.
Experience with equipment calibration.
Experience of hand soldering.
Proficient use of electronics lab equipment i.e., oscilloscope, digital multimeter, etc.
