What You Will Do:
As a Test Technician III, you will be responsible for executing robust development and verification test protocols to stress our products and simulate their use in surgical settings.
- Under minimal supervision, perform assigned development and verification tests on new and existing products per written/verbal instructions
- Set up and perform tests and experiments of varying complexity and scope, which comply with Stryker requirements, appropriate FDA requirements and engineering standards
- Submit periodic reports on assigned topics to appropriate personnel
- Provide guidance to contract support, new hires and interns
- Interact with engineering and production project teams
- Comply with documentation procedures and maintain test laboratory housekeeping standards to the highest level
What You Need:
- High School Diploma or GED, required
- Associate’s degree in Technical Sciences or Engineering, preferred
- Three (3) years’ relevant work experience, required
- Basic blueprint/schematic reading skills, preferred
- Ability to operate small hand tools (e.g. pliers, screwdrivers, hammer, wrenches, etc.), small power tools and common test/inspection equipment, preferred
- Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs, required
