About the job:
This role is an integral part of the Sales team in helping the team achieve its business objectives. Key responsibility includes direct selling to hospital accounts and assisting dealers in Taiwan to implement sales activities and achieve budgets. This role will also require gaining fundamental knowledge of Stryker products and surgical procedures, as well as having the ability to convince customers on our product features and benefits.
What you will be doing:
- Indirect channel management: Maintain a close network of cooperative relationship with dealers and customers.
- Direct selling: Define customer list and set priority, then conduct sales calls with proper timing to promote assigned products and provide services to existing customers.
- Start business conversation with customers and provide basic knowledge of cross team to them to enhance overall Stryker business potential.
- Know customer’s practice and needs to further provide solution with Stryker products and timely services.
- Provide technical backup at follow-ups, clinics and implants as required, if applicable.
- Implement sales activities to achieve budgeted sales and profitability goal.
- Explore new accounts / business opportunities to build Stryker’s customer pool.
- Collect and report market intelligence of account / territory sales achievement, concerning overall Stryker business and identify critical issues on a monthly basis.
- Support Business director / Sales Manager to formulate the sales plan and activities in accordance with local strategy, and identify market-specific needs, trends and opportunities for business growth.
- Compile customers' feedback to drive for quality of service and to expand business portfolio.
Who are we looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience within the Medical Device industry and distributor management with proven record.
- Ability to independently manage projects to meet agreed business objectives.
- Experience working within an operating room environment.
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in spoken and written Chinese. English language ability is highly advantageous.
- Logical and analytical skills with proven ability to solve complex problems and develop effective solutions.
- High ethical standards and integrity.
