As a Territory Sales Manager Upper Extremities, you’ll help us deliver on our mission of making healthcare better by promoting and selling Stryker’s world-class products.

As part of the Trauma and Extremities division of Stryker, the Upper Extremities business offers a comprehensive portfolio of innovative hardware like elbow, shoulder, hand and wrist implants for surgical treatment  that help improve patient and hospital outcomes.

As the global leader in shoulder arthroplasty, Stryker has developed a comprehensive portfolio for individuals experiencing chronic joint pain.

In this role, you will develop strategic approaches to optimize customer service and support the acquisition of new customers through technical expertise. Your key responsibilities:

  • In your new role, after a familiarization phase with product trainings, you will take over sales activities in the field for our Upper Extremities product portfolio (Elbow, Hand & Wrist, Shoulder) in the upper part of Sweden with a focus on the Stockholm area.

  • You will implement marketing and sales strategies in the sales process and conduct negotiations, including with surgeons, hospital administrations and purchasing departments.

  • With the product knowledge you have built up, you advise and train surgical & theatre staff in its OR use during workshops.

  • You will be responsible for customer care for surgical theatre staff, hospital administration & procurement with the goal of achieving qualitative and sales-oriented consultation.

  • Furthermore, you will prepare orders for interested customers and will also be a reliable partner for our customers during order follow-up to ensure a timely delivery date and thus a high level of customer satisfaction.

  • You will participate in trade fairs, congresses, and business meetings in order to find potential new customers and to expand your knowledge for customer contact.


What are we looking for?

  • You have gained sales experience preferably within the medical devices or pharmaceutical industry and want to move into a role with more clinical focus and technical depth within the orthopedical product portfolio.

  • Your background can be sales or medical field technician, nurse, physiotherapist, paramedics, application specialist.

  • Ideally, you can provide Arthroplasty product knowledge.

  • You have a strong enthusiasm for medical technology and your passion and ambition for selling complex products with the best possible customer service is very important to you.

  • You appreciate contact with a wide variety of people and have a talent for building and maintaining networks.

  • You are able to deal with people who hold differing beliefs or values.

  • You hold a valid driving license.

  • Excellent communication skills with proficiency in spoken and written English and Swedish is required.
