Territory Sales Manager

As a Territory Sales Manager responsible for Norway you’ll help us deliver on our mission of making healthcare better by promoting and selling Stryker’s world-class Head & Neck and ENT products.

In this role, you will develop strategic approaches to optimize customer service and support the acquisition of new customers through technical and economic expertise. To best manage your assigned territory, you are preferably located in Oslo, Norway.

Your key responsibilities

  • In your new role, after a familiarization phase with product trainings, you will take over sales activities in the field for your product portfolio in your territory.

  • You will implement marketing and sales strategies in the sales process and conduct negotiations with surgeons, hospital administrations, medical technicians and purchasing departments.

  • With the product knowledge you have built up, and your understanding of the healthcare economical aspect of our products, you advise and train surgical & theatre staff in the OR.

  • You will be responsible for customer care for surgical theatre staff, hospital administration & procurement, with the goal of achieving qualitative and sales-oriented targets.

  • Furthermore, you will prepare quotes for interested customers and will also be a reliable partner for our customers during order follow-up to ensure a timely delivery date and thus a high level of customer satisfaction.

  • You will participate in trade fairs, congresses, and business meetings in order to find potential new customers and to expand your knowledge for customer contact.

What are we looking for?

  • Sales experience in medical devices or pharma industry is desirable

  • University degree or an equivalent apprenticeship in the field of business or other science

  • Head and Neck or ENT knowledge is an advantage

  • Knowledge of Medical Device environment especially reimbursement (DRG and EBM)

  • Able to work independently as well as in a team with strong teamwork and networking skills

  • Flexible approach to work in order to adapt to changes

  • Commercial and business awareness

  • Valid driving licence

  • Excellent communication skills with proficiency in spoken and written English and Norwegian is required

Additional Information

  • Travel activity can be up to 50%, including overnight stays at external locations.

  • Depending on the scheduling of your workweek, you will spend the remaining time working from home.
