Job description
Join a team responsible for maintaining a safe, compliant, and fully operational facility environment within a medical device manufacturing setting. This role focuses on advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of building systems to ensure equipment reliability and adherence to healthcare standards. You will support day-to-day facility operations while contributing to preventive maintenance and infrastructure improvements.
What You Will Do
- Perform troubleshooting and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, as well as electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Execute preventive maintenance programs for building systems, including emergency power and specialized equipment
- Respond to facility service requests and resolve issues within defined response timelines
- Install, maintain, and repair facility infrastructure and equipment used in manufacturing environments
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and healthcare facility standards
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and compliance documentation
- Coordinate and monitor external service providers to ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements
- Support facility modifications, space planning activities, and emergency response readiness
What You Will Need
- Associate degree in Facilities, Engineering, or a related technical field (technical degree)
- High School Diploma required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in facility maintenance within a regulated environment (medical device, pharmaceutical, or similar)
- Knowledge of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities
- Certification or formal training related to electrical, mechanical, or building systems
- Experience using maintenance management systems for preventive maintenance tracking
Pay rate will not be below any applicable local minimum wage rates.
