Job description

We are looking for a motivated and driven Clinical Affairs Intern to join the Stryker team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with a dynamic and innovative team to support clinical activities. As a Clinical Affairs Intern, you will be responsible for organizing and coordinating clinical studies, monitoring clinical operations, and creating and maintaining clinical documentation. The ideal candidate will have a degree in health sciences, medical, or related field, and the ability to quickly learn new processes and procedures. You must also possess strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently are essential. The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently and collaboratively, as well as have a passion for healthcare innovation.   • Conduct literature reviews and assist with data analysis.
  • Assist in the development and optimization of protocols and procedures. Contribute to research projects and participate in team meetings to discuss findings.
  • Stay up-to-date with current research and advancements in the field of microbiology.
  • Collaborate with other interns and team members to achieve project goals.
  • Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills in microbiology.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Adhere to company policies and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Represent the company in a professional and ethical manner at all times.

What You Need​​

  • Currently working on completion of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related field or equivalent; we will only consider students who plan to be enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the summer.

  • Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above; must be the case at the date of hire and will be verified during background check in the spring

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require employment-based sponsorship now or in the future.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and proven leadership and business acumen skills.

  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.

  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.

  • Proficient on basic computer programs: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint

$19 min hourly wage – $33 max hourly wage and either paid corporate housing or a living stipend, dependent upon hiring location.
