About the Role

We are looking for a Staff Engineer CNC to serve as the Subject Matter Expert across CNC manufacturing processes at our Skawina facility. This role provides technical leadership across CNC operations, driving process performance, quality, validation, and continuous improvement. The Staff Engineer will apply broad engineering expertise across CNC, Lean Six Sigma, manufacturing, and automation, while supporting the delivery of complex projects and enabling robust, compliant, and capable production processes.

What will you do?

As Staff Engineer CNC, you will:

  • Provide technical and operational support to CNC manufacturing operations

  • Ensure process and product quality per applicable specifications and standards

  • Apply structured problem solving to resolve complex technical issues

  • Drive continuous improvement to enhance process performance, capability, and efficiency

  • Support Industrial Development / Advanced Operations on technology development and application (local CNC process expert)

  • Engage in Lean Manufacturing implementation and sustainment activities

  • Participate in system and process troubleshooting with internal teams and external partners

  • Own and execute NC/CAPA activities in your area of responsibility

  • Lead or contribute to development of PFMEA and Control Plans

  • Conduct SPC and MSA studies for new and modified processes

  • Support integration of new processes with MES / SAP systems

  • Take a lead role in process validation procedures and documentation

What do you need?

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience implementing and improving CNC processes

  • Strong CNC machining knowledge

  • Experience in CNC programming (Fanuc, Sinumerik, Mazatrol)

  • Experience and knowledge in process validation / PPAP

  • Strong GD&T knowledge (mandatory)

  • Fluent English speaking and writing

Preferred / Advantage

  • Experience with analytical tools such as PFMEA, SPC, MSA, DoE

  • Proven ability to provide technical leadership and influence Engineers, Interns, Technicians, and Operators

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with a continuous improvement mindset

  • Willingness to investigate and implement new technologies and automation solutions

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
