Job description

  • Lead, oversee, coordinate and facilitate the activities in a production area or manufacturing cell ensuring safety, quality, and compliance while achieving production goals, efficiency and yield targets and cost objectives.
  • Full compliance and enforcement of all Safety, GMP, Regulatory, Product Quality, Company Policies and Environmental requirements.
  • Stop further processing in the event of encountering non-conforming product condition. · Train and/or coordinate the training and required qualifications of personnel within assigned area.
  • Ensure product is manufactured to the most current/validated method/process and specification and DHR for every lot is correctly filled in per GMP & QS requirements.
  • Develop, coordinate and/or implement root cause problem solving, preventive and corrective actions. · Ensure equipment, tools, fixtures, gages and measuring devices are properly used, maintained and calibrated in his area of responsibility.
  • Develop, coordinate and/or implement production activities, schedules and methods to ensure production targets and needs are achieved.
  • Facilitate/drive/support/coordinate/participate in the continuous improvement and elimination of waste journey for Stryker Suzhou-The Stryker Way.
  • Make budgetary recommendations on capital expenditures and direct/indirect and/or overtime labor. · Work with engineering and supply chain in forecasting production schedules and capacity requirements.
  • Ensure traceability and inventory accuracy/control.
  • Understand and be able to apply, enforce, comply and meet all GMP standards and quality requirements.
  • Support the manufacturing manager on the overall production improvement of Quality, Customer Experience and Cost Control.
