*This role will be on a hybrid schedule, with the expectation to be onsite at our Portage office 1-2 days/week

The Sr. Compensation Analyst is responsible for leading the design, administration, and analysis of sales compensation programs, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and effectiveness while resolving discrepancies and maintaining up-to-date documentation. The role also leads cross-functional collaboration, data analysis, and supporting ad hoc projects to optimize reporting, processes, and incentive outcomes. 

What you will do:

  • Enhance processes, metrics, and responsibilities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and sales growth 
  • Leads the design, analysis and administration of sales compensation programs 
  • Works closely with Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, and HR/Legal teams to ensure accurate incentive plan administration, compliance, and results 
  • Compiles, calculates and processes commission and incentive pay for the business sales organization 
  • Develop, maintain, and update systems and processes critical to the reporting and tracking of compensation metrics 
  • Lead the review and analysis of sales compensation data and summarizes findings for management 
  • Perform research and analysis to identify and resolve compensation discrepancies related to various financial and/or business partner data 
  • Act as a subject matter expert on company sales commission and incentive policies 
  • Lead Cross-functional collaboration to refine and enhance sales compensation processes 
  • Ensure plan documents, business rules and other documentation are updated with latest compensation rules and guidelines 
  • Implement compensation plan documents and sales incentive training programs 
  • Monitor sales compensation programs outcomes, ensuring adherence of participants and the effectiveness of plans 
  • Lead ad hoc projects and reports requested by sales management and corporate leadership including, but not limited to: quarterly projection files, financial accruals, compensation metrics and trends, etc 

What you need:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2+ years of relevant experience required

Preferred:

  • Prefer advanced experience using MS Office Suite, specifically Excel
  • Experience using Callidus, Power BI preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to perform thorough, quantitative, and qualitative analyses using applicable technology tools
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
