Job description

  • Management of significant Engineering projects through PMO
  • Build and update planning’s, budgets and workload of projects for which you will be responsible
  • Lead local steering meetings with the various departments of Design, Quality, Sourcing, and operations.
  • Represent the site's Advanced Operations team at global project meetings and communicate to the leaders of the different departments the progress and risks of the project
  • Bring your technical and industrial knowledge to help the project team create the best possible compromise through the application of techniques such as Design For Manufacturing & Inspection (DFM & I)
  • Collaborate with the Advanced Operations teams of other sites (US, EU,… ) to optimize the chances of success of projects
  • Participate in the development of the validation and verification plan of the manufacturing processes.
  • Provide Technical leadership from an engineering perspective to the Advanced Operations Engineers
  • Structured problem solving and continuously improve the performance of the process.
  • Train and mentor Engineers in the team.
  • Interface with Materials Science, Design and Quality Assurance departments to provide customer with a quality product in a timely manner.
  • Provide engineering support for new product and process introductions, ensuring that all activities are completed and documented in accordance with the Stryker new product development procedures
  • Participate in PFMEA, Control Plan, SOP, Make Vs Buy , Design transfer milestones and PPAP generation associated with product launches.
  • Monitor and control progress of work ensuring sound application of engineering principles and the appropriate use of policies and procedures
  • All other duties as assigned


    Skills Sets:
  • Proven Project Management skills through the delivery of business-critical projects.
  •  Strong communication and influencing skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Capable of working as part of a multi-disciplined team in an aggressive, dynamic and results motivated environment
  • Experience of GD&T, Process mapping, statistical methods and process/ product validations, PMP certification would prove beneficial.
  • Commercially and financially aware
  • Confident and effective decision maker, with a proven project management ability to negotiate and influence others.
  • High level of PC Skills required. (MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint, MS Project, PowerApps, Power BI dashboards).
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills - able to express ideas and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent attention to detail.

Education:

  • B.tech./ MTech./ MS. - Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline or equivalent technical experience is required

Experience:  

  • Experience – 10+ years of relevant Experience.
  • Experience in an FDA regulated or regulated industry beneficial
  • Working experience / knowledge of ISO 13485 and other Medical devices regulations
