Job description

Position summary:

As a Senior Marketing Specialist, you will play a key role in building mid- to long-term growth strategies for the Mako SmartRobotics™ product portfolio that align with Stryker’s mission, vision, and values.


This role is responsible for developing new product launch strategies, annual marketing plans, and market development initiatives, including pricing strategies, to drive sustainable and profitable growth while achieving sales and operating income targets.

Essential duties & responsibilities: (detailed description)

  • Conduct market analysis and manage key business data to generate actionable insights and support data-driven business planning and financial projections.

  • Develop and execute new product launch strategies and annual marketing plans, including pricing strategy and multi-year business planning, to drive portfolio growth.

  • Drive commercial excellence by identifying customer needs, leveraging fact-based insights, and ensuring strong cross-functional alignment.

  • Develop core positioning and messaging and manage the product lifecycle, including key launches and portfolio optimization.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with KOLs and lead marketing programs to support market development and clinical adoption.

  • Collaborate closely with Sales, MPS, and the Implant business to ensure effective execution of marketing strategies.

  • Manage marketing budgets (NA, CER, samples) and oversee equipment and instrument planning, including inventory and forecasting.

  • Prepare key marketing documents and performance reports, ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and KMDIA requirements.

Education & special trainings:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field preferred

  • English communication skill required

  • Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)

Qualifications & experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of marketing experience

  • Experience in the healthcare industry preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights

  • Effective communication and presentation skills
