Job description
What you will do
Ensure compliance with Argentinian customs legislation and additional authorizations, including non-standard supply chain movements.
Perform tasks in ERP systems, generate reports, and issue clearance instructions for shipments.
Create import/export documents, implement process controls, and maintain metrics and record-keeping systems.
Develop and implement work instructions in Spanish, aligned with Global Trade Compliance functions.
Oversee international suppliers, transportation providers, and customs brokerage services.
Facilitate reviews with customs brokers and internal business units, continually improving service delivery.
Prepare and submit responses to government agencies and classify dual-use items.
Resolve complex trade scenarios, lead site/regional projects, and build strategic internal and external relationships.
What you will need
Required:
Academic degree in international trade, customs affairs or equivalent experience
Professional with +5 years import/export compliance experience with Argentina Customs
Bilingual: English and Spanish
Working knowledge of customs/trade regulations (including HTS Classification, Customs Valuation, Country of origin determination, VAT)
Preferred:
Working knowledge of FTAs
Knowledge of trusted trader programs
