Job description

At Stryker, we're driven by one mission: to make healthcare better.

We're looking for a hands-on Technical Installation Supervisor to help deliver world-class Operating Theatres across Australia and New Zealand. If you enjoy working with technology, solving problems on-site, and travelling, this could be the role for you.

Based in Sydney, you’ll travel Monday to Friday (no weekends), working on-site across ANZ with a supportive, experienced team.

Your days will be hands-on, varied and fast-paced. You'll:

  • Lead and support installation teams onsite across Australia and New Zealand

  • Troubleshoot issues in the field and find practical solutions to keep projects moving

  • Coordinate contractors, builders and hospital stakeholders throughout the installation

  • Complete quality checks, testing and final commissioning activities

Why join Stryker

  • Work with a tight-knit team who stay connected (even if rarely in the same place!)

  • Enjoy travel around Australia and New Zealand (no weekends)

  • Be supported from day one with structured training and mentoring

  • Grow into leading larger projects — with the team behind you

  • Access world-class learning, development, and employee benefits

  • Be part of a company that values integrity, impact, and people-first culture

Who you are:

This role is for someone hands-on, detail-oriented, and confident in leading onsite work.

  • Experience working in technical, hands-on environments (e.g., electrical, AV, or mechanical installation)

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Proven ability to work independently on-site and manage trades and timelines

  • Excellent communication skills — able to interact with builders, hospital staff, and internal stakeholders

  • Confident managing installations solo, but also a team player who thrives with support

  • No healthcare experience required. If you've worked in AV, electrical, communications, mechanical installation or a similar technical environment, we'd love to hear from you.
