Job description
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
Job Summary
Assist in coordinating the day-to-day activities of a team of production workers to ensure that manufacturing operations run according to established production specifications and schedules; volume, cost, and wastage targets; and quality standards.
This position requires knowledge that is acquired through experience, specialized education, or training. The role has clearly defined procedures and tasks as well as defined guidelines to aid in decision making. The job should possess a good knowledge and comprehensive understanding of the range of processes, procedures and systems specifically JDEdwards and SAP to be used in carrying out assigned tasks.
What will you do:
- Completes repetitive tasks and follows procedures along with written and verbal instructions; works on production line duties for majority of scheduled shift
- Manages time and resources effectively through good organizational skills and through use of independent decision making.
- Meets goals as defined within Stryker key success factors of Quality First, Customer Experience, Innovation, People Development, and Financial Results
- Responsible for tracking and updating on relevant metrics (as needed) and recording/tracking efficiency issues or concerns.
- Strives for operational excellence by promoting a team-based, product-focused organization, contributing to continuous improvement and 5S, participating in safety programs, and regularly providing ideas for process improvement or cost reduction
- Committed to quality by striving for reliability and quality in our products, continuously searching for ways to enhance team's performance and meeting all training and documentation criteria.

- Leads small production team within one manufacturing line in relation to cell needs at the production level
- Resolves technical and/or resource issues on the line in regard to equipment, process and people as much as possible
- Partners with supervisor to ensure all team members are adequately trained and maintain completed competencies and ensure all employees are following standardized work and completing quality records accurately Qualifications
What you need
- 3+yrs of experience in a Manufacturing leadership role or related experience.
- High School Diploma or GED
Preferred:
- Training and Development experience
- Prior experience with SAP System
- Prior leadership experience
$27.00/hr plus bonus potential and benefits.
