We are currently seeking a Senior Systems Test Engineer to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In this role, you will support the verification, validation, integration, and testing of complex robotic systems and related technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to help ensure products meet functional, performance, reliability, safety, and quality expectations.

What You Will Do

As a Senior Systems Test Engineer, you will help bring new and modified products to market by supporting system-level integration, verification, and validation activities for complex robotic systems.

You will:

  • Support system integration, verification, validation, reliability, and regression testing for robotic systems, subsystems, modules, instruments, and related components.
  • Develop, execute, and document test plans, verification protocols, engineering studies, test reports, and verification matrices in support of product development.
  • Analyze system and subsystem requirements to ensure they are clear, complete, and testable.
  • Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, software, systems, quality, and program teams to integrate features, resolve technical issues, and deliver tested product solutions.
  • Set up, troubleshoot, and debug complex test systems, equipment, fixtures, and electromechanical test environments.
  • Design or support the development of test fixtures and test setups using tools such as SolidWorks, MATLAB, and LabVIEW.
  • Perform data analysis, statistical analysis, and measurement system analysis to evaluate test results, accuracy, precision, and stability.
  • Document, communicate, and present test activities, results, defects, risks, and recommendations to engineering and program stakeholders.
  • Create clear defect reports, track anomalies using designated tools, verify effectiveness of resolutions, and document retest results.
  • Participate in cadaver labs or simulated-use environments to build understanding of surgical workflows and product use cases.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of system test processes, procedures, tools, and best practices.
  • Provide guidance, technical support, or training to less experienced team members as needed.
  • Support compliance with applicable regulatory standards, including IEC 60601, as appropriate.

What You Need

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant engineering experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with system integration, verification, validation, or system-level testing.
  • Experience developing, executing, and documenting test protocols, test reports, or engineering studies.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across hardware, software, and/or electromechanical systems.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to document and explain test results, issues, and recommendations.
  • Strong aptitude and interest in system testing, product quality, and complex technical problem-solving.
  • Experience testing robotic, electromechanical, medical device, surgical, or regulated products.
  • Experience with verification and validation activities in a regulated environment.
  • Experience using SolidWorks, MATLAB, LabVIEW, Minitab, or similar engineering tools.
  • Experience developing or supporting test fixtures, test equipment, or automated test setups.
  • Familiarity with IEC 60601, FDA design controls, or other medical device regulatory standards.
  • Experience with measurement system analysis, reliability testing, regression testing, or statistical analysis.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams, including mechanical, electrical, software, systems, quality, and program management.
  • Ability to support project planning activities, including test estimates, schedules, and verification matrices.

  • $89,300 - $148,800 USD Annual
