Join Our Greenfield Project: Senior Staff Engineer, Product Transfer

Are you ready to make your mark on a pioneering greenfield project? Do you have the expertise and drive to lead a team toward groundbreaking success? We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Senior Staff Engineer to join our Product Transfer team, playing a critical role in establishing a new manufacturing site.

About the Role:

As the Senior Staff Engineer, you will be the Subject Matter Expert across various engineering disciplines including manufacturing, fabrication, and automation. Your leadership and technical expertise will be vital in driving product transfer and process introductions, ensuring all activities are completed to the highest standards. This role is not just about technical skills but also about being a problem solver, proactive leader, and someone who thrives on innovation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead engineering efforts for product transfer and process introductions, adhering to Stryker procedures.

  • Inspire and guide team members, providing technical direction and expertise.

  • Make key decisions on technical objectives and outcomes.

  • Oversee capital acquisition from equipment specification to validation.

  • Coordinate machinery integration to ensure efficient material flow.

  • Guarantee process and product quality as per operational and material specifications.

  • Participate in PFMEA, Control Plan, SOP, and PPAP activities.

  • Ensure compliance with GMP and safety protocols.

  • Conduct capability studies and generate inspection documentation.

  • Develop, review, and execute validation documents per Stryker standards.

  • Perform Measurement Systems Analysis and capability studies for transferred equipment.

  • Provide training to manufacturing team members.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a team-based environment with excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical abilities and multitasking capabilities.

  • Demonstrated experience in equipment purchase and commissioning.

  • Proficient in manufacturing processes (metal machining, turning, milling) and engineering materials.

  • Green Belt 6 Sigma qualifications are an advantage.

Competencies:

  • Expertise in solving complex manufacturing/design issues using engineering data.

  • Proficient in Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and statistical tools.

  • Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and geometrical dimensioning.

  • Practical knowledge in Validation (IQ, EQ, OQ_P, PQ) is beneficial.

  • Advanced skills in GD&T, process mapping, and statistical methods.

  • Skilled in Measurement System Analysis and data analysis.

  • Capable of creating process documents like PFMEA, PCP, and Work Instructions.

  • Experienced in LEAN methodology.

  • Strong leadership skills to influence and guide engineers, technicians, and operators.

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills both in English and Polish.
