Our team is growing, and we are seeking someone with MedTech, pharmaceutical, or general life sciences industry acumen. Are you interested in driving improvements in risk management, controls, and governance processes? As a member of our Assurance and Risk Advisory (ARA) function, you will play an integral role in bringing value to the business to help the organization achieve its strategic objectives. You will have the chance to work with a dynamic and global team that supports the organization’s strategy through customer focus and innovation. This role involves conducting assessments and audits across a variety of Stryker functions, and we are looking for individuals with a blend of functional expertise outside of audit to join our team (e.g., compliance, commercial, quality and regulatory/clinical affairs).
The Senior Risk Analyst is responsible for executing operational and compliance related internal audit projects and should have MedTech, pharmaceutical, or general life sciences industry knowledge including understanding of relevant standards, regulations, and emerging risks to support internal audit activities. Baseline knowledge of internal audit principles, methodologies, and practices is a plus, but is not a requirement.
This hybrid role can be based out of our offices in Portage, MI; Flower Mound, TX or Mahwah, NJ.

What You Will Do
Execute detailed planning steps, including documenting project risk assessment results, identifying and prioritizing risks and processes, and developing proposed project scope.
Prepare and update work program and planned testing procedures to align with identified risks.
Support walkthroughs, fieldwork meetings and execute audit procedures over complex audit areas.
Provide daily oversight and manage all fieldwork activities for internal audit projects.
Review workpapers and test results and provide feedback and coaching to the team.
Draft audit findings, remediation plans, and conduct root cause analysis.
Draft audit reports, ensuring information is factual and supported by audit procedures.
Utilize digital tools and technologies and seek new learning opportunities to enhance technical and digital expertise.
What You Need
Required:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as life sciences, accounting, finance, sales/marketing, business administration, healthcare administration, compliance, regulatory affairs and quality management, data analytics, or supply chain management
2+ years of professional experience
Experience in MedTech, pharmaceutical, or general life sciences industry, including knowledge of relevant regulations and risks
Preferred:
Professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, CFE or equivalent
