Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides a business unit with a primary point of contact to manage application initiatives, support, break fixes and projects for the business area regarding Item Master Creation and Updates.
  • Lead development of business processes to drive efficiency and accuracy in the acquisition, transformation and transportation within the data lifecycle.
  • Manage, monitor and work with IT to fix any issues with the use of data loaders for all Oracle loading activities.
  • Conduct ad-hoc data investigations when necessary and lead a team to profile and analyze data to address inquiries or inaccuracies appropriately.
  • Monitor data quality and integrity; resolve intermediate transactional data conflicts ensuring that data is accurate.
  • Promptly coordinate and complete routine data change requests.
  • Manage item attributes within Oracle system to enable value-added reporting.
  • Develop data quality guidelines, communicate and monitor adherence to regulations set.
  • Provide effective status reports and escalate issues and risks on time. 
  • Drive efforts to attain pre-determined team goals set for Item master Data Integrity.
  • Act as liaison between the Oracle Item Master and the Global Item Master by coordinating SharePoint activities needed between divisions.
  • Generate meaningful metrics that drive behavioral changes as required by Upper Management.

Qualifications, skills and desirable experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Statistics or a related field
  • 3-7 years of relevant experience in QMS domain preferably on Oracle/ SAP
  • Previous work experience in a regulated environment
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient computer skills in advance excel (Microsoft Tools)
  • Understanding of databases and data warehouses preferred
