Job description
Join a manufacturing team focused on consistent execution, product quality, and production efficiency in a regulated medical device environment. This role combines leadership and hands-on involvement, overseeing daily production activities while ensuring adherence to established procedures and standards.
The Production Supervisor is responsible for coordinating production personnel, monitoring manufacturing processes, and supporting product builds in alignment with defined procedures. This role also contributes to process flow, equipment operation, and collaboration with engineering teams to support production and development activities.
What you will do
- Supervise production personnel to ensure adherence to manufacturing procedures and output targets
- Monitor production processes to maintain defined quality and efficiency standards
- Assign resources and coordinate staffing to meet production build plans
- Support the development and execution of production schedules and build plans
- Train new operators on manufacturing processes, equipment use, and procedures
- Record and maintain accurate production data and build records for traceability
- Set up, adjust, and operate production equipment to support manufacturing activities
- Troubleshoot process and equipment issues and collaborate with engineering on resolutions
What you will need
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- Minimum 7 years of experience supervising or directing personnel in manufacturing
- Experience in medical device manufacturing environment
- General knowledge of cleanroom procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting prototype builds or process development in manufacturing
- Experience working with regulated production documentation and procedures
