Job description
What You Will Do:
Data & Insights
- Independently analyze product adoption, usage, and performance metrics.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to influence product decisions.
- Build and automate dashboards and recurring reports for real-time visibility.
Documentation & Knowledge Transfer
- Own the creation of user-facing documentation (release notes, guides, FAQs).
- Partner with Product Owners to produce clear journey maps, workflows, and diagrams.
- Lead transfer-of-information sessions to enable downstream commercial and support teams.
Product Operations & Process Improvement
- Maintain and improve backlog hygiene practices, ensuring readiness and prioritization.
- Identify and drive process improvements for backlog refinement, release readiness, and reporting.
- Promote disciplined use of metrics (e.g., backlog health, sprint predictability).
What You Will Need:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering/ Computer Science or related discipline & 2+ years of work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas, charts).
- Strong technical writing skills (drafting release notes, guides, and process docs).
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum principles (terminology, ceremonies, backlog flow).
- Familiarity with BI/reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker — at the user level).
- Strong Agile practice knowledge (capacity planning, backlog health metrics, predictability tracking).
Preferred Skills / Engineering tools:
- Experience with backlog management tools (e.g., Jira dashboards, custom queries, integrations with Aha!/Confluence).
- Ability to create process maps and workflows in Visio, Lucidchart, or equivalent.
- $89k - $148k salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
