Job description
As a Senior Principal Architect, IT Data & Analytics, SAP OTC, you will work as part of the global Stryker IT Data Solutions team, focusing on supporting the SAP ERP transformation program. As a functional SAP expert, you will collaborate with the Data Migration team and global IT Business teams to define and manage master and transaction data objects, ensuring accurate, accessible, and secure data migration into SAP S4 ERP while delivering value within a diverse and cross-cultural team.
What you will do:
- Collaborate closely with SAP ERP transformation program IT team, business stakeholders and Data Migration team to own, define and deliver various master data and transaction data objects to support migration of data from various global and local systems into SAP S4 ERP.
- Lead and influence during the design sessions with the IT, business and Enterprise Data Governance teams.
- Provide Functional support during data Design (for source to target mapping, relevancy rules, business transformation rules) with Order to Cash process focus.
- Provide expert functional support towards development of functional and technical specifications for Data Objects by Data Migration team.
- Finalize key data functional requirements (transformation, PII/GDPR/regulatory/compliance requirements)
- Present the data related Change Requests in Change Control Board (CCB) meetings, assess data impacts & integrate changes in data migration
- Deliver required documentation and other artefacts as defined by the global IT frameworks for Data and Information. This includes owning, creation and publishing of Data Flow Diagrams (DFDs)
- Partner with business and IT key stakeholders to ensure compliance of solution implementation to the intended data architecture and data governance expectations.
- Drive change towards data-driven/informed culture; support and advocate for enterprise information management best practices, including coaching and training
What you need
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or computer engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in SAP S4 and ECC full life-cycle implementations in SAP Order to Cash process.
- Experience in integrating SAP with Field Inventory Management systems (EIM, WebOps) and non-SAP peripheral systems (e.g., Varicent, Model N, Salesforce, ServiceMax).
- Experience working with third party IT vendors and/or IT system solution providers.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in MIS or MBA.
- Certification in SAP SD (Sales & Distribution)
- Experience with SAP MDG projects and understanding of SAP MDG concepts including Business Partner (BP), supplier, and customer.
- Knowledge in the design and construction of Data & Information Flow diagram and architectures between various SAP & Non-SAP applications within SAP ERP ecosystem.
- Exposure to various data modeling techniques e.g., Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), entity-relationship (ER) diagrams.
