Job description
The (REMOTE) Senior Principal Product Data Security Engineer will be a valued professional on the Product Security team for Stryker’s Digital, Robotics, and Enabling Technologies organization. They will work with AI R&D product development, MLOps, quality, testing and regulatory team members to develop AI data security standards, data management practices, guidance, and policies for the development and sustainment of products incorporating secure artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technologies.
What You Will Do
Participate in forums outside of Stryker to develop regulatory guidance for AI/ML applications in the medical device industry.
Provide guidance to AI and development teams to apply standards for the development, testing, training, tuning, and monitoring of AI and ML in medical devices on prem and hybrid multi-cloud platforms and technologies.
Provide guidance to product development teams on how to assess, prioritize, and resolve AI model, model data, and MLOps threats.
Experience with the AI Lifecycle, data security, and data management strategies.
Understanding of the NIST AI RMF, EU AI ACT, ISO 42001, and other related AI regulations and frameworks.
Lead and Influence across business units, seen as an expert advisor in the development of division design controls and risk documentation within the quality management system.
Lead cooperative efforts with IT Cybersecurity, R&D, Quality, Regulatory, marketing and project management to ensure success.
Identify and experience with development and utilization of technology and systems which enhance the company's product/process development performance.
Recommend procedural and process improvements and may provide resources or help to remove obstacles to team accomplishments.
Contribute to review and evaluation of technical performance.
What You Need (Required)
Bachelor's Degree in product security, computer science, engineering, or related disciplines
10+ years of work experience.
2+ years of relevant experience in applicable security or technical field.
Preferred
Master's Degree in security related discipline. (Preferred)
Understands quality management systems preferably in the healthcare or medical device industry.
Experience implementing practices around data privacy, cybersecurity and able to apply to AI.
One or more active, industry recognized, and relevant AI certifications, such as CISSP-AI, CMLSE, or Azure AI Engineer.
$149,300-329,000 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
