Job description
As a Senior Portfolio Manager on Stryker Knee Arthroplasty upstream marketing team you will l be at the forefront of innovation. In this role, you’ll support portfolio development for primary knee arthroplasty, one of the leading segments within Stryker’s Joint Replacement business. This role offers a unique chance to partner and collaborate with top surgeons in the field, the sales force and internal stakeholders, driving success and making a meaningful impact on the way primary total knee arthroplasty procedures are conducted. What you will do:
- Assesses the impact of competitive dynamics and points of parity / difference through competitive analysis.
- Researches features and benefits and how they translate to value for a specific product.
- Gathers and collates competitive information to drive insights.
- Leverages networks of people and resources for obtaining competitive information.
- Adheres to organizational protocols, practices and procedures for gathering competitive information.
- Anticipates the needs of customers and patients and creates a superior value proposition.
- Obtains insights by leveraging KOL network.
- Understands customer value perception and refines proposition for various customer stakeholders.
- Understands and implements what current and future customers find valuable.
- Selects appropriate investigative or analytical methods from market research to generate insights.
- Utilizes an established process for conducting market research.
- Combines historical and current data to optimize market research.
- Analyzes the validity and reliability of market research results. Understands statistical significance and basic hypothesis testing.
- Effectively uses and interprets qualitative and quantitative research. Able to glean decision-driving insights through observation of behaviors
What you need (Required):
- 6+ years of work experience required

- MBA preferred
- 3+ years medical device or marketing/sales experience preferred
*$98,000 - $210,100 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.*
