Job description

What you will do:

As our Senior Manager, EDT Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), you will lead the end-to-end platform ownership and delivery of Stryker's Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) environment, which powers Stryker.com and 50+ country sites globally as the foundation of Stryker's Digital Marketing Program. You will partner directly with the Digital Marketing organization, EDT business partners, Marketing Operations, and external system integrators to drive scalable content authoring, content globalization, comprehensive campaign insights, and modern cloud architecture across AEM Sites, AEM Assets (DAM), and integrated Adobe Experience Cloud capabilities. Additionally, you will lead a team of full-time employees and managed-service partners spanning AEM technical architects, backend/frontend developers, DevOps engineers, QA, and analytics consultants, ensuring the platform delivers on brand consistency, speed-to-market, operational efficiency, and enhanced customer experience objectives aligned with Stryker's Mission.

  • Own the end-to-end AEMaaCS platform strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle across AEM Sites, AEM Assets (DAM), Dynamic Media, Multi-Site Manager (MSM), and the AEM Translation Integration Framework (TIF).

  • Lead architecture governance for the component library, page templates, blueprint/live-copy configurations, and language-copy rollouts supporting Stryker.com and 50+ country sites.

  • Drive modernization efforts (e.g., AMS-to-AEMaaCS migration, technical debt reduction, out-of-the-box (OOTB) adoption) to enable scalable content authoring, globalization, and advanced marketing analytics.

  • Ensure seamless integration between AEM and adjacent platforms including Workfront, Adobe Analytics, Adobe WebSDK, Marketo, Adobe Target, and Adobe Real-Time CDP.

  • Oversee CI/CD pipelines, code quality standards, release management, and the AEM Releases & Deployment Schedule in partnership with DevOps and system integrators.

  • Partner with the AEM AI initiative team to evaluate and operationalize built-in generative AI capabilities (content creation, asset tagging, experimentation) in alignment with Stryker's AI Operating Committee (AIOC) governance and residual-risk approvals.

  • Ensure platform compliance with Stryker IT QMS, SOX, CSV, Global Change Control, privacy/consent regulations, and cybersecurity standards.

  • Execute a robust talent offense by attracting, developing, retaining, and engaging top talent while driving personal/professional growth of individuals and the team, delivering high-quality results with passion, energy, and drive.

  • Manage a team consisting of full-time employees, contractors, and managed-service partners; define roles and responsibilities, plan for the department's future needs, counsel employees on performance, and contribute to employee pay decisions or changes.

  • Lead and mentor Solution Leads, Technical Leads, and Solution Analysts across build and run teams (onshore and offshore).

  • Serve as the EDT single point of accountability for the AEM platform to Digital Marketing, Marketing Operations, Corporate Communications, and Divisional marketing stakeholders.

  • Own program schedules, work breakdown structures, and integrated Gantt/roadmap views for the AEM portfolio.

  • Implement quality, risk, and procurement management strategies and templates for AEM projects and programs.

  • Ensure smooth build-to-run transitions of completed projects and stable production support operations.
