Job description

Position summary:

This position is responsible for taking full ownership of supply planning for Stryker products from the internal and external vendors allocated to them. This role involves end-to-end supply planning across a full range and spectrum of products. The individual will work closely with various suppliers/vendors, commercial teams, and RAQA to ensure the supply process effectively meets the overall supply outcomes for the assigned franchises, territories, or countries, reporting directly to the planning manager.

 

The successful candidate will be expected to autonomously identify opportunities for improvement and independently drive initiatives. This includes analyzing large amounts of data, performing weekly replenishment and approvals, identifying capacity constraints, and ensuring consistency in PO, invoice, and shipment processes to meet customer expectations. Additionally, they will proactively collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and reduce lead times. This position is a key driver in ensuring adequate inventory is available to fulfill customer demand while minimizing unnecessary cash outflows, such as excess and obsolete inventory (E&O) and other potential risks related to supply planning.

 

Essential duties & responsibilities:

  • ·        Execute purchasing and manage Stryker products to achieve the goals of targets and objectives.
  • ·        Monitor PO and shipment status with suppliers and record the proper information into JDE system or in the place were requested to store including move-it.
  • ·        Effectively manage and navigate the challenges of addressing additional local requirements that are not covered by global standards, ensuring successful communication and manual coordination.
  • ·        Actively interact with demand planning, suppliers, warehousing & transportation to solve supply issues.
  • ·        Liaise with logistics team to deliver the products in a timely manner at the lowest possible cost and the shortest lead time with most efficient delivery way to achieve customer satisfaction until identify AWB#.
  • ·        Correspond with suppliers for open & backorder management and supply issues such as packaging, shipping, PLCM, demand forecast and ERP system.
  • ·        Collaborate with cross functional partners to ensure inventory is managed according to constraints and targets that are aligned with the business strategy. 
  • ·        Participate in the monthly RRM and DSE meetings that supports assigned products or franchises. 
  • ·        Support the (pre-)EDR & Bi-weekly supply update(to the business teams) process through relevant metric reporting and summary of risks, opportunities, & key supply decisions required.
  • ·        Autonomously drive the improvements on supply planning areas aligned with East Asia planning team’s strategy. 
  • ·        Actively participate in PLCM and other supply related global projects to ensure supply plans are developed, communicated, and executed in support of the project timelines.
  • ·        Measure, analyzes, and report key process metrics, while monitoring adherence to key performance indicators (KPI) that are assigned to this position.
  • ·        Responsible for ad-hoc information flow for customers, commercial partners, global allocations, and logistics
  • ·        A strong commitment to supporting the team's long-term goals and a readiness to consistently deliver high-quality work under time-sensitive conditions are essential.

    Education & special trainings

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain or quantitative fields.  
    • Min 3-5 years relevant experience in supply planning, procurement & inventory management  
    • Strong proficiency in Excel. (Designing Power BI, SQL, VBA is plus), Power Points Presentation skills.
    • Work experience in a team-based environment within manufacturing or supply chain.
    • Proven track record of making health care better with customers.

    Qualifications & experience:

    • Experience analyzing large data sets and proven analytical skills to draw action items, insights, and recommendations from data.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills - able to interact independently with stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
    • Proven ability to work collaboratively across functional teams on resolving problems and/or projects.
    • Meticulous, detailed oriented and sense of urgency for problem solving.
