Job description

Schedule: Monday - Friday; 6:00 am - 2:30 pm with OT as needed by the business

What you will do:

  • Repair, troubleshoot, and maintain production/welding fixtures to ensure dimensional accuracy, repeatability, and reliable operation.

  • Fabricate, modify, and improve welding fixtures to support manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Design, build, and maintain stationary and mobile storage racks, carts, and workstations to improve material flow, organization, and ergonomics.

  • Operate manual machine tools such as mills, lathes, drill presses, grinders, and saws to manufacture and repair components.

  • Perform precision machining of fixture components, replacement parts, and custom tooling.

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, CAD models, and GD&T requirements.

  • Weld (MIG/TIG) and fabricate steel and aluminum components for manufacturing support projects.

  • Inspect fixtures and fabricated components to verify dimensional accuracy and functionality.

  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Operations to identify fixture improvements that enhance safety, quality, and productivity.

  • Maintain an organized fabrication and machine shop while following all safety requirements.

What you need:

Required

  • High School or GED

  • Minimum of 3 or more years of relevant experience


$28.01 - $38.75 USD Hourly
