Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Raheen Business Park, Limerick, Ireland (Onsite)
Contract: 23-Month Fixed-Term + full suite of company benefits

About the role
At Stryker Limerick, engineering makes a direct difference to patients’ lives. As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will take ownership of critical manufacturing processes, solve complex technical challenges, and support the delivery of high-quality orthopaedic products. This hands-on role offers real accountability, strong technical mentorship, and visible impact at a site recognised for automation excellence.

What you will do
• Own and provide technical leadership for manufacturing processes within an assigned production cell
• Analyse manufacturing performance data and execute structured improvement plans to close gaps in safety, quality, delivery, and cost
• Lead process validation activities, including installation, operational, and performance qualification, and perform measurement system analysis studies
• Drive continuous improvement projects using structured problem-solving and statistical methods to improve yield, capability, and reliability
• Support introduction and transfer of new manufacturing processes, ensuring full documentation and production readiness
• Deliver cross-functional projects end-to-end, from scope definition and cost planning through qualification and operational handover
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and work instructions in line with regulated manufacturing requirements
• Provide technical guidance to technicians and engineers, supporting a culture of learning, documentation, and process excellence

What you will need

Required
• Minimum Level 8 degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent technical experience
• Minimum 2 + years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to analyse process data and apply structured problem-solving techniques

Preferred
• Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
