Job description
Stryker is seeking to hire a Senior Manager, R&D Engineering with a focus in product development to support Stryker's Joint Replacement division. This role will support new product development. This role is hybrid and located in Mahwah, NJ.

What you will do:
- Engage with stakeholders across multiple teams to align goals, resolve challenges, and drive project success.
- Collaborate across business units to ensure the seamless execution of initiatives and cross-functional integration.
- Translate vision into results, championing project vision and driving measurable business outcomes.
- Lead complex projects, managing large-scale initiatives and guiding teams through ambiguity.
- Shape strategy and innovation, contributing to the development of future-focused implants utilizing robotics applications.
- Develop and execute shared roadmaps, working with teams across Stryker.
- Drive efficiency and scalability, optimizing inventory management, cost structures, and global operations.
- Push boundaries, thinking beyond traditional solutions to advance technology and business impact.
What You Need:
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required for the role
- 10+ years of experience in Engineering roles
- Prior people management experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience leading teams.
- Experience managing large-scale, complex projects, particularly with stakeholder management.
- Previous experience in New Product Development (NPD).
- Experience working in a matrixed environment with cross-functional collaboration.
- An interest in or prior experience with robotics and enabling technologies with a strong background in mechanical design.
$129,600 - $286,500 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
