About the job:
This role will be part of the APAC Finance Indirect Channel Management (FICM team) and reports to Director, FICM APAC.
As part of the APAC FICM team, the incumbent will work with the Regional and Country FICM teams to maintain overall control and responsibility for financial aspects of Indirect Channels Management including Medical and NV. Builds and leverage cross-functional relationships to bring together ideas, information, use cases and industry analyses to develop best practices. Identify and propose solution for issues of substantial significance that affect the functions within the global excellence; advising senior leadership on compliance risk. The incumbent is to lead the process of providing financial analysis and implement recommendations based on these findings. Works closely with Indirect Channel Management (ICM) team to ensure discipline and rigor around Stryker’s indirect channel lifecycle management process, with a specific focus on setting commensurate Indirect Channel compensation, Fair Market Values, discount monitoring and books & records of the Indirect Channels. Demonstrate the ability to inspire, engage, motivate and coach a team. The incumbent will effectively manage change and drive buy-in from stakeholders, create value and deliver on strategic initiatives.
What you will be doing:
Work with country and regional FICM teams to review the indirect channel business strategy in order to ensure sustainable and compliant growth through indirect channels
- Work together with the Indirect Channel Management team to select, onboard, monitor, evaluate and renew or terminate Indirect Channels.
- Manage and train team in Indirect Channel books and recording keeping capabilities as part of selection process. Provide clarity on expectations and work with Commercial teams on books & records remediation plans, if necessary. Follow-up on progress remediation plans.
- Review input for Fair Market Value information by providing internal data and collecting external data on an annual basis
- Review and analyse indirect channel compensation at selection of the Indirect Channel and at renewal of the contract versus fair market value and escalate in case outside of range.
- Ensuring for completeness and accuracy of Indirect Channel compensation data in this system, including periodic updates.
- Manage regional consolidation of discounts monitoring for Indirect Channels outside of the contract
- Effectively communicate information to senior management, internal and external business partners
- Visit specific strategic Indirect Channel partners, train the IC teams on Books and Records requirements
- Look for opportunities and manage execution of change management to enhance efficiencies in existing processes
- Analyze and consolidate regional data to identify opportunities to improve profit margins
- Support audits and implement action plans in a timely manner
- Provide books & records training to commercial teams and indirect channels in different forums
- Understand strategic directions and drive action towards FICM/ GX goals – demonstrate the ability to motivate team into achieving strategic goals
- Partner with Compliance, Legal, Commerical and ICM teams
Who are we looking for:
- 12+ years related experience, including 3-5 years in managerial or team leadership roles
- Strong written and interpersonal communications skills
- Exceptional analytical abilities required
- Proficient in PC applications, including spreadsheet and word processing software; Power BI preferred
- Capable of developing strong working relationships with teams across the APAC region and managing through influence
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Advanced capability to transform large data sets into stories and presentations
