Job description

You will shape how sales leaders make decisions by building the analytics, reporting, and AI capabilities that power performance across our Trauma & Extremities business. This is a high-impact role where you’ll set a multi-year roadmap, strengthen data foundations, and scale advanced analytics that improve forecasting, targeting, and operational efficiency.

What you will do

  • Define and lead a multi-year data science and analytics roadmap for sales performance reporting and insights, aligned to business priorities.
  • Own the underlying data architecture and establish governance for data, models, and analytics to support scalability, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Identify and prioritize AI and advanced analytics use cases, deliver measurable business value, and scale successful solutions.
  • Partner with sales operations and business leadership to translate complex business needs into analytics products that support strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee standardized reporting frameworks that deliver timely, accurate insights on revenue, quota attainment, productivity, and key performance drivers.
  • Advance analytics maturity from descriptive reporting to predictive and prescriptive insights (e.g., revenue forecasting, territory optimization, sales targeting, gap closure).
  • Lead strategy and continuous improvement for sales operations systems and analytics platforms, including automation that reduces manual work and improves user experience.
  • Build and develop a high-performing team of 5–7 data scientists and analysts by setting priorities, operating rhythms, and performance expectations.

What you will need

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of related work experience in data science, analytics, reporting, or analytics platform leadership.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience integrating secondary systems with an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system in a multi-vendor environment.

Preferred

  • Master’s degree in a related field.

  • Work arrangement: Eligible for remote or hybrid work depending on business needs and candidate location.
  • Travel: Minimum 20% as outlined above.
  • Driver’s license: Not required.
  • Relocation support: May be available depending on business needs and candidate location.

United States of America Pay Ranges:

  • US15: $179,300 - $298,700 USD Annual
