Job description
The Sr. Manager, Commission Operations will be responsible for leading a team of analysts focused on end-to-end sales commission planning and sales incentive compensation plan execution across the entire Medical Division.
What you will do
- Independently manage a team of analysts, identifying top talent and fostering professional growth.
- Partner with Sales Operations, oversee and ensure the accurate and timely execution of sales support functions that can impact commission calculations, including sales quota credit, annual and monthly quotas, territories, and account assignments.
- Act as the system owner for the sales incentive plan payroll system, providing ongoing maintenance and updates to employee records with support from Human Resources and Sales Operations. Ensure system functionality and troubleshoot any issues to ensure smooth operation.
- Work closely with stakeholders within Medical and across Divisions to manage the administration of annual compensation plans, including quotas, spiffs, and variable compensation.
- Handle ad hoc plan adjustments and manage the onboarding of new hires and any special cases.
- Oversee and continuously improve the sales compensation process. Ensure all associated processes and documentation are up to date and aligned with company objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple business units, including commission analytics.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of semi-monthly sales commissions and draw payments.
- Address sales commissions issues/concerns; drive confidence in the commissions process with timely communication and training directly to the sales organization and ensure quick resolution of any issues as they arise.
- Communicate any commission issues in a timely manner to applicable stakeholders.
- Proactively identify opportunities and regularly assess Commissions processes across Business Units and other Divisions to drive consistency and best practices.
- Responsible for creating IPE and provide explanations for variances and outliers.
What you need
Required
- Bachelors Degree
- 10+ years of professional experience.
- 3+ years of people management experience.
- Demonstrated partnership with the internal organization.
- PowerBI and Excel expertise
Preferred
- Experience in SAP Commissions or ICM (Incentive Compensation Management)
$115,600- $245,800 salary plus bonus eligible + Benefits (Health, Vision, Dental, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Assistance Program, Wellbeing Program, Employee Stock Purchase Program). This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position based on current national data. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
