Senior Laboratory Engineer (m/f/d)

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team! If you have a strong background in laboratory testing and equipment management, this is your chance to play a key role in ensuring the safety, performance, and continuous improvement of our products and lab operations.

What You Will Do: 

• Conduct comprehensive safety and performance tests on products to ensure compliance with industry standards.

• Analyze and evaluate test results using advanced analytical and statistical methods.

• Collaborate closely with biomechanical engineers, providing clear and actionable test insights.

• Develop and optimize new test setups based on User Requirement Specifications (URS).

• Maintain and oversee laboratory equipment, driving efficiency and innovation.

• Seek for and lead the implementation of new technologies to enhance lab operations.

• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and security protocols as our designated security representative.

What You Need: 

Required: 

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Biomechanics, Medical Engineering, or a related field.

• Several years of professional experience in testing medical products, mechanical components or biomaterials.

• Expertise in equipment automation and test setup development.

• Strong proficiency in data analysis, statistics, and technical documentation.

• Fluent in English and German to collaborate in an international environment.

Preferred:

• Experience in executing verification testing campaigns.

• Experience in programming (e.g., C, C++, Java, Python, Labview)

• Familiarity with laboratory safety and security protocols.

• Experience in the medical device industry, with specific expertise related to testing, osteosynthesis or similar areas.
