Job description
As a (Senior) Engineer, Product Transfer (m/f/d) you will oversee the seamless and timely transfer of products across multiple sites, with a strong emphasis on effective communication and coordination between Stryker’s sites. This role focuses on the engineering activities required to move production lines and ensure smooth operational transitions.
What you will do:
Support suppliers and internal teams in executing equipment qualification, process validation, and developing documentation such as PFMEAs, Control Plans, MSAs and SOPs.
Act as project manager by coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver on time and within budget, maintaining regular communication with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Create and maintain detailed project timelines, working closely with project team members to plan, track, and execute work items and dependencies.
Collaborate closely with R&D, Sourcing, Quality and Operations to ensure smooth project implementation and knowledge transfer.
Set priorities and drive urgency across teams using project management tools and methodologies.
Ensure all work complies with Stryker’s Quality Management System and external regulatory standards.
Foster a team culture of engagement, collaboration and transparent communication.
What you will need:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
Experience in a manufacturing environment, including hands-on understanding of process qualification, process control and risk management.
This is also a great opportunity for talented graduates with appropriate experience in manufacturing.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapting to shifting business priorities and timelines.
Problem-solving skills in manufacturing/design technical issues.
Excellent English and German language skills, enabling seamless collaboration with local and global stakeholders.
Preferred:
2+ years of manufacturing experience, ideally in medical device or another highly regulated industry.
