Job description
This role sits at the heart of innovation, translating new product concepts into robust, scalable manufacturing processes. You will contribute directly to the successful launch of new technologies by developing manufacturing solutions that meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. It is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast‑paced Advanced Operations environment with real impact on patient outcomes.
- Execute process development activities for new products, focusing on manufacturing technology, methods, and procedures that enable safe and efficient production.
- Deliver engineering support for new product and process introductions, ensuring all work is completed and documented in line with Stryker development and quality procedures.
- Define and maintain process and product quality requirements in accordance with approved operational and material specifications.
- Support component and equipment selection through technical analysis of specifications, reliability, and regulatory requirements, partnering with Quality to define inspection and testing strategies.
- Support capital equipment activities, including equipment specification, supplier engagement, installation, and validation.
- Analyse equipment and processes by establishing operating parameters, executing experimental testing, and evaluating results through structured process reviews.
- Develop and execute manufacturing documentation and risk‑based controls, including process risk assessments, control plans, operating procedures, and production approvals.
- Train manufacturing personnel on new processes and ensure ongoing adherence to good manufacturing practice and safety standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing, process, or product engineering.
- Experience supporting new product introduction or product transfer activities.
- Experience working in an FDA‑regulated or similarly regulated manufacturing environment.
- Contract type: 23‑month fixed‑term contract with full benefits package (including bonus, pension, healthcare, life assurance, etc.).
- Work arrangement: On‑site role within Advanced Operations.
