Job description
What you will do-
- Excellent understanding on SCADA/MES Ignition modules like Perspective, Vision Unlimited, Web Browser, Alarm Notification, SQL Bridge, Tag Historian, Reporting
- Expertise in PLC programming (PLC like Allen Bradley/ Siemens)
- Expertise in SQL Server, python scripting, Java
- Expertise in integration with OPC server products like Kepware
- Should be able to help create design documents, test plans, test cases etc.
- Should be able to implement, document and maintain the SCADA/MES application as per design documents.
- Should be able to writes and compile code and construct database objects based on documented design.
- Should be able to assist in gathering information to determine architecture specifications, parameters for software compatibility, application security needs and other application architecture requirements.
- Should be able to assist in gathering and evaluating end user requirements
- Ensure that the system is running smoothly and efficiently, and that it can handle any changes or disruptions in the manufacturing process.
- Design, develop, and maintain SCADA systems using Ignition software.
- Configure and program SCADA systems to monitor and control industrial processes.
- Integrate SCADA systems with various PLCs, sensors, and other field devices.
- Develop and implement HMI screens, dashboards, and reports.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SCADA systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SCADA systems with other enterprise systems.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of SCADA systems and processes.
- Design and develop electrical components for medical device
- Understand fundamental industry standards, design requirements and test strategies which align with regulatory requirements
- With supervision, create or refine engineering documentation, such as the Design History file per company design control procedures
- Learn R&D procedures like design controls and risk management, per the Quality Management System
What you need:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Ignition SCADA software with total Experience of 5-7 years.
- Strong knowledge of SCADA systems, PLCs, and industrial automation.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python.
- Experience with SQL databases and data integration.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Preferred Relevant experience in medical device industry.
