What You Will Do
The Demand Planner is responsible for managing the Demand Planning process in the Latin American (LatAm) region. This role will involve collaborating with various Stryker franchises, ensuring a regional responsibility. The Demand Planner will facilitate the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, fostering collaboration across multiple departments to define SKU demand volumes. With this information, the professional will work closely with Supply Planning and Inventory Planning teams to ensure materials are available for customers. The role reports to the Demand Planning Manager.
- Act as a bridge between all areas of the business to collaboratively define demand volumes on a regional basis.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between Marketing, Sales, Finance, Regulatory, and Legal teams to gather insights and ensure alignment.
- Drive the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process to ensure accurate demand forecasts and alignment with business goals.
- Develop and maintain accurate demand planning models for multiple franchises, ensuring consistency and alignment across the region.
- Partner with Supply Planning and Inventory Planning teams to ensure demand forecasts align with material availability and customer needs.
- Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and seasonal factors to create and adjust demand forecasts.
- Monitor and evaluate demand plan performance, identifying discrepancies and driving corrective actions to ensure forecast accuracy.
- Provide regular reports and updates to management on demand planning status, key issues, and proposed solutions.
What you need:
Required:
- Advanced English
- Bachelor’s degree
- Intermediate Portuguese or Spanish
- Experience in demand planning positions in multinational companies
Preferred:
- Advanced Spanish and/or Portuguese
- Degree in Engineering or related fields
