Job description
We are looking for a Senior Business Solutions and Commercial Manager to drive commercial growth by supporting divisions, enabling cross-divisional deals, and maintaining a strategic commercial perspective. You will lead Stryker’s contract and tender operations, ensuring excellence in tender tracking, governance, and contract management.
In partnership with the Director of EEMEA Business Solutions and Commercial, you will play a critical role in driving excellence across the entire Tenders, Contract Management, and Pricing processes. This includes enhancing tender tracking and visibility, ensuring strategic pricing excellence and governance, and advancing contract management practices.
You will support contract negotiations and evaluate the profitability of both new and existing contracts. Additionally, you will lead, develop, and shape a high-performing team that delivers top-tier market, tender, and pricing analysis to support the broader Stryker organization.
This role also involves collaborating closely with key functions such as Marketing, Finance, Business Enablement, and Sales to provide strategic partnership and impactful support.
What you will do
Lead the tenders and contracts functions, ensuring alignment with strategic plans and overseeing end-to-end tender processes and contract management activities.
Manage and develop strong relationships with tender authorities, hospitals, and buying groups to drive effective commercial outcomes.
Collaborate with divisions to create and refine commercial models for customers and indirect channels.
Drive cross-divisional engagement and deliver innovative business solutions for selected opportunities, adopting a "One Stryker" approach.
Develop high-quality bid responses, ensure compliance with tendering SOPs, and oversee contract monitoring and adherence to local regulations.
Facilitate contract and tender meetings to track progress, address challenges, and identify opportunities for cross-divisional collaboration.
Provide thought leadership on evolving procurement landscapes and propose future operating models to maximize business potential.
Continuously improve tools, systems, and processes to support tender and contract activities and provide advisory services to franchises and senior stakeholders.
What you need
Required:
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Statistics, or Medical Education
At least 10 years of relevant work experience in tender and contract management
Minimum 2–3 years of people management experience
Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to influence and communicate effectively at a senior level, both internally and externally
Strong organizational and project management skills
Preferred:
Experience in the medical device industry within Polish market
Proven ability to lead and enable in a complex matrix organization
