Job description
POSITION SUMMARY
This role will translate Endoscopy and Instruments divisions’ Integrated Planning data into meaningful business insights. This role will work closely with the Integrated Planning teams to understand their requirements, then develop appropriate reports and models to meet those requirements.
What you will do:
• Document business requirements: define and document business case and functional use case, by collaborating with Endoscopy and Instruments division Integrated Planning teams to ensure business goals and scope are clearly understood
• Data analysis: develop and architect efficient and scalable models to address specific business problems
• Reporting: create reports and presentations that use data visualization and storytelling to communicate findings to stakeholders on a regular cadence, and ad-hoc. Develop harmonized and centralized workspace of reporting suite with user/persona management. Focus on best practices in UX for centralized reporting suite.
• Process development: create processes for effective data analysis and reporting. Establish best practices and global standards for reporting and metrics for applicable business scope. Including business facing data dictionary and glossary for metrics/reporting applications.
• Business integration: work alongside Business Process Engineering to design and integrate analytics into the integrated planning process
• Project management support: assist with project planning, tracking progress, and managing stakeholder expectations
• IT integration: coordinate with IT to ensure that the necessary infrastructure is rolled out and maintained, and that current technology supports the divisions’ goals and co-build and self-service analytics ecosystem.
What you will need:
- Bachelors Degree in Business/Operations or technical disciplines.
- Languages: fluent English and local language required
- KNOWLEDGE Background Experience Required:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in operations execution or planning and minimum 2 years’ experience with data analysis tools and reporting solutions
- IT Planning system experience to include use and data maintenance of ERP solutions.
- Business intelligence system and/or database experience. Power BI development required.
- Knowledge of relational database concepts and SQL required.
- Experience in Microsoft office applications specifically excellent skills in MS Excel.
- Advanced proficiency in VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) for automation. Strong analytical approach to problem solving, business acumen, communication skills, and relationship management are all a must.
- Power BI Suite (i.e., full stack, desktop, dataflows, semantic models, etc.), SAP modules, Manufacturing Resource Planning Systems, Medallion Architecture, Cloud-based data ecosystem
