What You Will Do:

As the Senior Administrative Assistant (IT), you will provide specialized and advanced administrative support to three global Vice Presidents within the Stryker IT function who collectively lead approximately 300 internal and 600 external resources. You will enable executive and employee productivity by supporting a variety of tasks related to the organization and communications functions. This includes responsibility for confidential and time sensitive material and the facilitation, planning, and delivery of key projects, changes, and internal and external team events. Additional responsibilities may require you to:

  • Coordinate travel arrangements and manage expenses; coordinate calendars and schedule appointments based on key business priorities (e.g. special projects, issues and escalations, time zone complexities), networking with other admins throughout IT and business divisions.
  • Answer, screen, and route emails and digital collaboration chat and provide responses to internal/external customer requests.
  • Attend VP special project and leadership meetings to provide logistical support and updates.
  • Manage logistics for Functional Reviews, Town Halls, and staff meetings, including proactive communications and agenda planning.
  • Organize off-site & virtual meetings and executive divisional events including logistics, preparation of presentations and materials, resolution of problems and facilitation of special meeting requests.
  • Provide support to projects and key initiatives to ensure completion of ongoing projects and special assignments, including tracking of key deliverables and generation of communications.
  • Play a pivotal role in planning, supporting, and running all logistics for the annual IT extended leadership event.
  • Management and maintenance of online collaboration sites including creation of templates, oversight of materials and monitoring of process adherence, weekly status reports, and global distribution lists.
  • Manage the onboarding and off-boarding of employees, including updates in various systems, calendar setup, hardware and assisting with the assimilation into the overall Stryker environment.
  • Keep abreast of the latest Stryker IT user-based technology; be a change agent for IT technology by helping to train other admins throughout the Stryker business and act as a subject matter expert.
  • Participate in local admin steering committees, lead office activities and events, including celebrations.

What You Need:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 3+ years’ experience supporting Senior Leadership in a similar capacity
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs
  • Experience with expense reporting and invoice creation

Preferred:

  • Associate or bachelor’s Degree
  • Understanding of IT and technology-based services
