In this role, you will pursue opportunities to grow our Foot & Ankle business while demonstrating exemplary customer and patient focus. This is a great opportunity to join one of the world’s leading medical technology organizations, make an impact and develop further in your career!

What you will do:

  • In your new role, you will start with a familiarization phase with training to learn about our product portfolio and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Prospect new customers, understand their needs, while also providing ongoing service to existing customers: fostering trust relationships, customer loyalty and sales growth.

  • Develop and execute business plans. You will implement strategies in the sales process and conduct negotiations including with hospital professionals, purchasing departments, etc.

  • With the product knowledge you’ll develop, you will inform, advise and train hospital professionals during workshops and presentations. You will also provide clinical support in the operating room when needed.

  • Support in tenders, prepare quotes for interested customers and be a reliable partner for our customers during order follow-up and after-sales

  • Participate in congresses, seminars and business meetings to identify potential new customers and to expand your knowledge for customer contact.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver excellent customer experience – and with colleagues from other Stryker Commercial divisions towards cross-departmental opportunities.

What you need:

Required:

  • 6+ years of overall experience, including sales experience.

  • Degree or equivalent, preferably in fields such as business, physiotherapy, nursing, healthcare or in any other relevant areas.

  • Excellent interpersonal communications and persuasion skills – with proficiency in Finnish and English.

  • Commercial and financial acumen: you are enthusiastic about (medical) technology – your resilience and desire to sell technical products with the best customer service are important elements to you.

  • Relationship skills: you appreciate contact with a wide variety of people and enjoy building and maintaining connections. You also consider yourself a great team player.

  • You demonstrate adaptability, organizational, analytical skills and ability to work independently.

  • You have a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across Finland as this position involves customer interaction in the field.

Preferred:

  • Experience in surgical/hospital environments or in industries such as MedTech, BioTech, Pharmaceuticals, healthcare or related would be an advantage.

  • Orthopaedics/Foot & Ankle anatomy knowledge is not mandatory, but would be a plus.

What we offer:

  • Flat hierarchies and a culture committed to achieve our mission and deliver remarkable results together.

  • We grow talent: we offer great personal and internal career development for our employees, with the possibility to make both vertical and lateral position movement.

  • An attractive salary and benefits package including company car, an attractive pension plan, etc.

  • Recognition of your performance: at Stryker, outstanding individual and cross-functional team performance is rewarded. Ideas, projects, or other exceptional achievements can be submitted for various awards on a local and global level.
