Job description
As a member of the East Asia leadership team, the role holder will provide strategic leadership for the Joint Replacement and MedSurg franchises across Singapore, Malaysia, and export markets (Indonesia & Philippines), ensuring alignment with growth targets and the broader strategic objectives for Stryker.
The role encompasses full P&L accountability for Singapore and Malaysia, with a key focus on driving sustainable growth in both sales and profit, while maintaining strict compliance with all regulations.
A critical aspect of this role involves recruiting, engaging, and developing top talent to support the achievement of business goals. Additionally, the role holder will be responsible for fostering customer engagement across Singapore and establishing strong, effective sales and distribution channels to accelerate growth. Furthermore, the role will oversee the overall engagement of the Singapore office, ensuring a cohesive and motivated team environment.
Key Deliverables:
Develop and execute sales, marketing, and technical service plans for Singapore, Malaysia, and export markets.
Prepare for market changes and ensure timely and appropriate responses.
Implement sales productivity metrics and lead business expansion opportunities.
Provide continuous updates on market and sales trends.
Represent the company at government and industry bodies.

Customer Relationships:
Establish and manage relationships with KOLs and senior management of distributors/agents.
The Candidate:
Degree in Medical/Business/Engineering/Technology/Sales/Marketing/Commercial preferred.
Experience in a multinational company in medical/pharmaceutical/sales/distribution.
Thorough knowledge of sales/distribution processes and applied selling/commercial skills.
Familiarity with the orthopedic industry and key decision-makers preferred.
Successful outcomes in product launches and change management.
Experience in high-growth lean organizations preferred.
Ability to interact with diplomacy and tact while maintaining assertiveness and persistence.
Excellent business acumen, communication skills, and hands-on implementation ability.
