Job description
Senior Project Managers have accountability and authority for achieving projects' objectives. They direct a multi-disciplinary team aiming to complete projects. This position is in the Stryker Medical Acute Care business unit, specifically in the Clinical Communication & Workflow (CC&W) Portfolio. This position will be focused on leading sustaining and high-priority NPD, complex projects that support the strategic growth and development of the organization. This role will focus on end-to-end project management delivering results through effective cross-functional collaboration. Communicates status updates and delivery expectations to project team stakeholders and leadership.
We are seeking an experienced and goal-oriented Senior Project Manager to play a vital role as part the Program Management Office (PMO). This role supports a co-located, global technical team.

Clinical Communications and Workflow
What you will do
Job responsibilities:
- Project Leadership & Planning – Lead in the development of the project charter, management plan, scope definition, and detailed work breakdown structure. Own the project schedule, including the Gantt chart and critical path analysis.
- Stakeholder & Communication Management – Develop and execute stakeholder and communication management plans, ensuring transparency and alignment with project goals.
- Budget & Resource Management – Define, monitor, and maintain project budgets. Estimate, acquire, and assign cross-functional resources while providing performance feedback.
- Risk & Quality Management – Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks. Develop and maintain project quality plans using proven quality planning tools and techniques.
- Procurement & Vendor Management – Develop procurement strategies and collaborate on vendor selection to align with project objectives.
- Cross-functional collaboration – Partner with internal teams to define and track project tasks, ensuring successful execution and timely completion.
- Decision-Making & Problem-Solving – Weigh trade-offs, resolve conflicts, and make strategic decisions under pressure while maintaining team morale and motivation.
- Customer & Business Focus – Keep customer needs at the core, incorporate end-user feedback, and align project goals with broader organizational objectives.
What you need
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 6 years of work experience with 2 years of Project Management leadership
- 1+ years of proven knowledge, understanding, and exposure to Agile methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP or equivalent preferred
- Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project
