Job description
In your internship at Stryker, you will primarily learn and contribute to the simulation of realistic imaging data through methods like AI models and computer vision algorithms.
You will work with colleagues that are building software solutions for image-guided interventions and for intervention planning to understand the imaging data requirements that your synthetic data needs to meet.
You will use generative AI models such as GANs to evaluate concepts for imaging data synthesis and for improving synthetic images generated with other methods.
You will collaborate with subject matter experts to evaluate the effectiveness of the synthetic data for development and validation of software products.
You will be immersed in an R&D setting and you will learn about R&D processes and understand the regulatory process of medical devices.
Your profile
You are enrolled in an engineering degree program (e.g. biomedical engineering or similar), Master's level is preferred.
You have followed courses on medical image formation using methods like CT, MRI, X-ray/fluoroscopy and ultrasound.
You have basic knowledge of computer vision and machine learning algorithms and have gained initial experience with training deep neural networks.
Pay rate will not be below any applicable local minimum wage rates.
