Job description
1st Shift: Mon – Fri 8:00am – 4:30pm
What you will do:
As the Quality Inspector is responsible for performing routine visual inspections of components, parts and/or products for the area assigned, according to detailed job instructions and procedures, as well as the following below:
- Conduct dimensional and electrical inspection of sub-assemblies or final systems assemblies.
- Interpret prints, manufacturing drawings, diagrams, wire cards and lists in approving or rejecting in-process or final assemblies.
- Identify routine quality issues and resolves problems to meet quality requirements.
- Work as part of the QA team, applies basic level inspector process knowledge, practices and procedures to standard routine tasks.
- Inspect raw materials, components and finished products to ensure conformance to applicable specifications.
- Perform quality control inspections in accordance with FDA, ISO, and other applicable regulations / guidelines.
- Participate in preparing all necessary documentation for reporting acceptance/rejection of inspected and/or tested items.
- Support and participate in internal, external and Corporate audits and corrective action follow ups, as required.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Education or GED equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in Medical Device Field or relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Good understanding of Quality Assurance concepts
- Basic computer and math skills to calibrate and measure specifications
- Ability to use measuring devices like gauges, meters, calipers and computers
- Experience in a warehouse environment
